  1. When I released Relentless, I had no idea it would be as popular as it ended up being. It was a big departure from anything I’d written before, and it drew in a lot of new readers who have now gone on to read books set in the Safe Haven universe.

Although some people wanted to see the series continue, it was right for me to bring it to a conclusion after three books. That being said, I loved Taz and the girls from Psycho Slut Temple, and at some stage, I might revisit them in some form or another, whether it’s a short story or a full-blown novel.

I recently made the trilogy available as a box set, and I’m thrilled to announce that the audio box set has gone live ahead of schedule on Audible, iTunes and Amazon. I love Kim’s work on everything we’ve done together, but there is something special about this trilogy. Her portrayal of PST and the rest of the characters gave the books an entirely new dimension.

If you’re an Audible member, you can get the box set of all three titles for just one credit.

Kim is still busily working away on Safe Haven: Neverland (part 1) and as I mentioned last time, she’s already signed up to do Doomsday and the new series.

On the subject of which, things are going very well. I’m approaching the closing stages of the first draft, and I’m already looking forward to book 2.

The online store has been incredibly busy of late. Thank you to everyone who has made a purchase, and apologies to those who have wanted to buy something only to find it’s been out of stock. I’ve placed a substantial order for author copies of the out-of-stock titles, and hopefully, they’ll be arriving soon.

  2. I am getting asked with increasing regularity whether Safe Haven and The End of Everything are coming to an end. Since the stories have merged, the speculation has increased and so, I want to put the record straight.

I have no plans to end either series. In fact, Safe Haven – Doomsday, is a testament to that fact. It actually broadens the story while weaving in key parts of the existing set-up. It will answer a number of questions while at the same time introducing some characters pivotal to the Safe Haven/End of Everything universe. I love writing both series and while ever that is the case, I will continue.  You’ll be hearing more from both camps in 2021 and 2022.

Anyone who has seen any of my early interviews across on YouTube will know that I don’t plot my books. I start with an idea and I let that idea develop, allowing the characters to write the story for me. That being said, I have an inkling that one or two characters in Doomsday are going to appear somewhere a little further down the line. So, to reiterate, I have absolutely no intention of saying goodbye to either of these series in the foreseeable future. (Some of the characters however may not be so fortunate. Lol).

Even though I am committed to carrying on with Safe Haven and The End of Everything, I’ve got lots of other ideas that I want to explore too. This year I will be releasing a new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series. I’ve been working on this one on and off for about 18 months. Book one is well on the way to completion. Over the coming weeks I will be revealing a lot more, but to say I’m excited is a massive understatement. It is not zombie related, so in that respect, it will be very different from Safe Haven. It is, however, character driven like all my other work.

Safe Haven – Neverland (Part 1) continues to baffle me (in a good way). It achieved the highest number of pre-orders for any of the Safe Haven titles. It charted higher in the UK than any other Safe Haven title, and we sold more signed books across in the online store than any other Safe Haven title. It baffles me because traditionally, sales tend to slow a little the more a series progresses. This really doesn’t seem to be the case in this instance, so I want to send a huge thank you out to all my readers. You guys are amazing, and I will never take such incredible loyalty for granted.
