Sal had woken up with no recollection of the night before a few times but never like this … in a forest … alone … confused … scared.
She scoured her surroundings, desperate for some clue as to how she’d ended up here. Fragments of conversations, snapshots of memories were all she could scramble together.
But, suddenly, none of it mattered.
A stranger.
A warning.
And the hunt is on.
Now Sal and her friends are in a battle like no other. Death and terror lurk around every corner. Can they defy the odds and live to fight another day?
Or will they fall like so many before?
Is it all a nightmare or is it for real? One thing is for sure, it’s relentless.
What can I tell you? I love surprises. So, while I was writing “The End of Everything 8”, and “Safe Haven 7”, I took a bit of a detour.
As you may have guessed from the blurb, “Relentless” is nothing to do with the Safe Haven universe. It’s a standalone survival horror story. I had no plans to write it at all, but I got a thread of an idea and just ran with it. On the first afternoon, I notched six thousand words and that’s when I knew I had to continue. Two and a half weeks later, I had the first draft, a few days after that, I sent it to my editor, and bada-bing bada-boom, here we are.
What’s it about? Well, it’s a kind of a cross between Hostel and The Hunger Games. If you want to find out a little more, head here:
